The Party at Stadthallenrestaurant

Yes, that was really a bombastic party, indeed ! The cakebuffet was huge, we hat the opportunity to choose between wedding-gateau, a rasp- and a strawberry-cake, a closed apple-cake ans a Black-Forest gateau. The wedding-gateau was made by aour favourite baker Meier and it tasted as godd as it looks like. The top-part of it was filled with chocolate-cream and the basement with vanilla-cream. After we were fed up with cake we were showered with presents...

There were really some very extraordinary parts together. Some speeches and conjures for good luck for us later, the weather was good enoungh for a walk in the city park (zoo's included), just to get more space in the belly for the next buffet. The space was needed urgently because the opportunity to choose was big, once more. Just to let you know what you've missed or what you cammed into yourself, I'll show you now some pictures of the buffet...

...and after that (just following my sadistic disposition) I'll publish the menu now...(unfortunately I can't translate this because I've got no dictionary for cooks !)

Kaltes Buffet

Hausgebeizter Edellachs, ger�ucherter Heilbutt und R�ucherlachs mit Sahnemeerretich, warmer�ucherte Forellenfilets mit Dillsahne, pochierte Salmschnitte mit Wachteleiern, gef�llte Tomate mit Shrimps, pochierte Zanderkl��chen mit Weinaspik

Kalbfleischpastete "Excelsior" mit Pistazienmus, Roastbeef "London mit Selleriekugeln, Kalbsr�cken "G�rtnerin" mit Gem�sebukett, Kalbfleischr�llchen mit frischen Feigen, milder Ardennenschinken mit Melone, hausgemachte Wildpastete im Bl�tterteig, Schweiner�cken "Princess" mit Spargelspitzen, Medaillons vom Schweinefilet auf Artischockenb�den, Gefl�gelbr�stchen "Florentine" mit Blattspinat

Dazu diverse Saucen wie Tatar, Hotsauce, Cocktailsauce, Dilltunke und Sauce Cumberland

Warmes Buffet:

Kalbskeule mit Champignonrahmsauce, Schweiner�cken in der Kr�uterkruste an Portweinsauce, Gratinkartoffeln, Kroketten, Sp�tzle, Gem�seauflauf

zum Dessert:

Charlotte "Russia", Zwergbirnen in Burgunder mit Weinschaum, Vanillemousse mit Schokosplittern, Orangenweincreme mit Cointreau

nach 0 Uhr:

K�seplatte mit verschiedenen K�sesorten, sowie Fr�chten

After we were that much fed up, that the belly started hurting, we just relaxed for a while.Unfortunately I've got to tell you that I couldn't even test a dessert or take a single piece from the cheese plate. For the fun of all aunt Ulle played some cabaret and we had an amazing belly dancer who was invited to our marriage but doesn't want to be named at this page.  We were talking and laughing a lot and the first guests left at 10 p.m. and the last ones together with us at 2 a.m. the city-hall restaurant.

It was a wonderful celebration and I want to thank everybody, who owns a internet access, very much for the generous presents for us and hope we will always so happy together like that day !

'til then, relations and friens, but as you already know, the next event's already knocking on the door...
